Live Bait Jigs (stand-up)
These work really well for me. I make these jigs with a short shank hook that keeps the bait close so that the fish actually get the hook in their mouth. It also has a wider gap that hooks of similar length so the hookup ratio is much better. They are Perfect to rig leeches, minnow,s or crawlers under a slip bobber. Also good for pitching and retrieving minnows. I’m going to try to keep the Chartreuse in stock, but I can pretty easily make other colors and get them out in a couple days. This version helps keep the hook up when it hits the bottom. Good for walleye.
